Description
The work explores the state of extreme desiccation, where the material’s qualities manifest through a system of fractures and boundaries. The surface is divided into fragments and reassembled through connection — the seam becomes the structural principle of the composition.
The fractured structure functions as a language, marking a moment when a continuous surface is lost and a network of interacting segments emerges. It designates a state in which division reveals the inherent order and latent architecture of the surface.
Division should be understood as a method of revealing internal structure rather than destruction. The work constructs a perceptual space where fragility and stability coexist in a single mode, held together through the balance of connections.
